One tool is good, two tools are better, three tools or more are the best. When multiple tools are used in different ways, learning becomes layered and more complex. Focusing on the learning objectives and not the tools or apps allow for better lesson construction and a better learning experience in the classroom.

David Freeburg works for the Eden Prairie Public Schools as the Director of Digital Curriculum. In this role he works to create systems where digital curriculum can be leveraged for personalized learning opportunities. He uses his background as a Google Certified Teacher and Apple Distinguished Educator to help him in this pursuit, but the most important tool he utilizes are the years spent as a Jr. High social studies teacher.
