Escape from Google Man's Lair: A Google Advanced Search Breakout EDU Room!

Sign up or log in to save this to your schedule, view media, leave feedback and see who's attending!

It's 3 A.M., and you get a frantic Google Hangout call from a friend. "I don't have much time!" he exclaims, "I'm trapped in the lair of the psychotic villain, Google Man, and I need you to find the key to my cell in his office. He stepped out for 45 minutes, but when he gets back, I'm done for! You've got to save me!"

In this session, you must help your friend escape Google Man's lair by solving puzzles and clues using advanced Google and YouTube search techniques. Not only will you get to experience a Google-ified Breakout EDU room, but you will learn tips and tricks to developing your own educational escape rooms, as well as brainstorm ideas with fellow educators about breakout room themes, resources, and materials.

Will you be able to escape?
