Research-based Technology Coaching Models

Sign up or log in to save this to your schedule, view media, leave feedback and see who's attending!

Technology coaching is rapidly becoming commonplace in schools across the country. Research-based models from the following theory-base must be considered for successful and effective implementation: leadership, instructional coaching, instructional design, and technology integration. Fusing research from the four fields allows for the creation of a pedagogically-sound technology coaching model. This session will include an overview of the research in each theoretical-base and describe how each theory may be implemented into a technology coaching model. It is time to transform the current model of professional development and foster truly integrated professional development with on-going support and instruction. Attend this session to learn how to design a technology coaching model, specific to your setting, that is rooted in research-based theory.
